I have been a Physiotherapist for the past 24 years, having graduated in 1998. After completing my postgraduate studies in Developmental Rehabilitation, I began my career as a Community-Based Paediatric Physiotherapist at the Spastics Society of Tamil Nadu. During my tenure there, I evolved both professionally and personally, taking on various roles and responsibilities. I served as the Clinical Resource Person and later as the Head of the Department of Physiotherapy. In addition to clinical duties, I actively contributed to training programs as a resource person, guiding rehabilitation professionals and primary healthcare physicians. Over the years, I have conducted more than 50 workshops, both in India and internationally, focusing on paediatric rehabilitation. I continue to deliver online sessions on request. Before relocating to the UK, I worked in Qatar with one of the largest public healthcare groups in the Middle East. I was part of the Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, a unit of Hamad Medical Corporation, where I contributed to delivering world-class rehabilitation services.
