FAQs
Payment
We accept all major credit cards. We do require payment prior to your appointment to confirm the booking. Payment can be made over the phone, online via BACS, or with a secure payment link.
Home Physio Group is recognised by a number of insurance companies including BUPA Global, and WPA. Payment would need to be made ahead of your appointment and reimbursed by your insurance company.
If you use an overseas insurer, you will be required to pay prior to your appointment and then claim back from your insurance company. However, if you present a letter of guarantee with all the correct details we may be able to deal directly with your insurer.
All patients are ultimately responsible for the settlement of their account should any insurer fail to pay in full. We require your card details even if you are insured as many insured patients will have an excess or shortfall to pay. We recommend that you contact your insurer to find out what is covered under your policy. You will have seven days to query any invoice that you receive from us before payment is taken.
Initial appointments are £160 and can last up to one hour. All follow-up appointments are also £160 per hour. The fee includes reports and travel within a 30-minute radius. For longer distances, an additional charge of £0.55 per mile will apply. Discounted packages are not available.
Your appointment
Your initial consultation can take up to 60 minutes and includes treatment. Based on this session, you can decide with your physiotherapist if you would benefit from future appointments lasting either 45 or 60 minutes.
Any relevant information about your condition will help your physiotherapist to make an informed assessment. If possible, please provide them with as much information as you can, such as X-ray or scan reports, hospital discharge reports, and letters from other health professionals.
Your physiotherapist will listen attentively, assess what is wrong, and devise a step-by-step treatment and recovery plan that is right for you. Depending on your problem, you will be given hands-on treatment and/or an exercise programme during your session.
This will depend on your injury, your medical and physical condition, and what is needed to reach your goals. Your physiotherapist will be able to give you an idea of the number of visits and a likely time frame after your initial consultation.
Home Physio Group has close links with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare specialists. Your physiotherapist will be able to refer you to the most appropriate professional for their expert opinion. It is our duty to ensure that you always receive the most efficient treatment possible to aid your recovery.
Please inform us of a cancellation as soon as possible in order for us to offer that appointment to another patient. We reserve the right to charge for a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance. Please call our appointments line +44(0) 20 7096 0684

If you are choosing to use medical insurance, please check your policy as some insurance companies require a GP referral before covering treatment. If you're paying for the treatment yourself, there's no need to go through your GP first. You can simply phone us directly to book an appointment.
Our physiotherapists are all registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). If required, we can supply their registration number and you can check their details on the HCPC website.
