Sarah Clarke

After qualifying, I gained extensive experience through rotations in core areas of physiotherapy, including respiratory care (with intensive care exposure), general community care and falls prevention, rapid response, surgical wards, stroke rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal injuries. During this time, I developed a strong passion for neurological physiotherapy. To pursue this interest, I relocated to a London teaching hospital after my junior rotations, where I completed comprehensive neurological rotations covering the full spectrum of care, from acute settings to long-term community rehabilitation. Currently, I hold a senior position in a neurological community team, where I specialise in assessing and managing complex patients. My expertise includes advanced skills in posture and positioning for complex cases, vestibular assessment and treatment, splinting and orthotic guidance, and incorporating adjunct therapies such as microstimulation. I also bring extensive experience in therapeutic handling and tailoring interventions to meet individual patient needs effectively.
