My Journey
I began my career as a healthcare professional in India before relocating to the UK in 2017. Upon my arrival, I completed comprehensive rotations across all departments at NHS Lincolnshire Acute Hospital. This experience laid a strong foundation for my practice and allowed me to deepen my expertise, particularly in neurology. I currently serve as a Senior Neurological Physiotherapist under the NHS, where I focus on delivering specialised care to patients with neurological conditions.
In addition to my NHS role, my experience in the private sector has allowed me to further expand my skill set across a diverse range of conditions, including orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, elderly care, and falls prevention cases. My approach centres on providing patient-oriented care, working collaboratively with patients to set meaningful, long-term goals that enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.
Something about me
My mother, a dedicated frontline doctor, has been my greatest inspiration to pursue a career in healthcare. She instilled in me the values of passion, empathy, and the importance of truly listening to those you care for. From a young age, I accompanied her in volunteer service, which deepened my interest in helping others and ultimately sparked my passion for excelling in the field of rehabilitation.
In addition to my professional skills, I am fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, and I have a partial understanding of Punjabi and Urdu, enabling me to connect with a diverse range of patients.
