My Journey

I began my journey as a Rotational Physiotherapist in the NHS in 2018 at Homerton University Hospital, allowing me to gain experience treating a wide range of conditions in different settings. This has included: several Acute Medical Wards including Surgical, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care and Stroke Wards; as well as a few Outpatient Musculoskeletal Clinics. Also, I have gained experience working with the elderly population within the community for reduced mobility, frailty and falls prevention. Developing my experience further, I moved to Kings College Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist where I have taken a keen interest in working with patients with neurological conditions. With an understanding of the importance of positive relationships, I always work hard to build a good rapport with patients as well as their family members, ensuring that we are working towards goals that are personalised and meaningful to the individual.

Something about me

I love to travel and cook different cuisines. I have also always been very sporty and currently enjoy swimming and playing squash.
“Lauren was excellent and very encouraging with my mum. Mum has many mobility and mental difficulties but Lauren persevered with her and we managed to get her walking to and from the bathroom, a major breakthrough for her.” – Jenni, Leicester
