I love a challenge and I am passionate about working collaboratively with my patients to set goals and support them in their rehabilitation journey. I have experience in cardio-respiratory, neurology, orthopaedics, elderly and palliative care. I have a particular interest in the critically unwell patient, following their journey from ITU through to discharge home. This was particularly poignant during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is my desire to continue supporting patients in the community setting and further broadening my scope of practice.
Something about me
In my spare time I love cooking, exploring with new flavours and ingredients from all over the world and developing new recipes. I am a foodie at heart!
“I found booking my programme with Home Physio was easy to do and the programme proceeded without any problems. I felt confident that any issues would be resolved easily. As for the physiotherapist, Gemma, she proved to be reliable and punctual and was careful to address the physio needs I had, taking care to re cap at the start of each session to ensure that I fully appreciated and was able to re-visit previous sessions. She was an extremely personable young lady and I enjoyed my sessions with her. I feel that my mobility problems were fully addressed in the sessions and reached a successful outcome by the end of the programme. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend both Home Physio and Gemma”. – Paul, Wokingham
