My Journey
I’m a passionate physiotherapist with over 14 years clinical experience in a wide variety of Physiotherapy settings. I have NHS and private practise experience including working within elite sport.
My roles within the NHS have included, community rehabilitation and stroke rehabilitation, working within the community, care homes and in-reaching into community hospitals. I have gained vast experience working with a wide range of pathologies; including numerous medical conditions, neurological conditions and post surgical, supporting clients to remain living independently where possible. Private healthcare experience has included many years of musculoskeletal private practise, occupational health and work within elite sports.
This has given me the knowledge and experience to effectively and efficiently manage, treat and rehabilitate a large variety of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. My current weekly workload is split between community rehabilitation and private musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Something about me
I am very passionate and enthusiastic about sport. I enjoy keeping fit and active using a wide variety of training methods including; gym, rugby, football, boxing, outdoor walking, cycling & swimming.
I have previously played rugby professionally and semi-professionally and continue to enjoy playing rugby locally alongside a coaching role. I also enjoy coaching children and host a multi-sports class where children can benefit from developing motor skills in a variety of sports and improve their physical conditioning. I most enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children enjoy their hobbies and having family days out and holidays.
