I have worked in the NHS and the private sector. Most recently, I ran the physiotherapy service at a local hospice where I developed a successful Breathlessness Support Group alongside treating patients in inpatient, outpatient, and domestic settings. I’ve also worked in GP surgeries and gained experience in a wide variety of neurological, respiratory, and musculoskeletal conditions. In private practice I believe that engaging patients is essential to long-term improvement. A well-tailored exercise programme is as crucial to a successful outcome as appropriate manual therapy. I also find that suitable adaptations to work and home set-ups can drive therapy forward.
Something about me
My life outside the workplace involves looking after my two children, cycling, spending time at the gym, and helping the community.
