I started my career within University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust where I gained invaluable experience in a wide range of hospitals and specialties, inclusive of trauma & specialist elective orthopaedics, adult & paediatric musculoskeletal clinics, acute neurological rehailitation, and paediatric respiratory medicine. During this time my interest in orthopaedics grew and I supported the Nuffield Health group in post-surgical rehabilitation. Life took me to North Yorkshire where for the last 16 years I have been supporting and leading community rehabilitation within Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, with a primary goal of proactively enabling individuals to reach full potential and maximise functional abilities. My learning journey within physiotherapy continues having recently completed an Advanced Clinical Practice M.Sc. inclusive of independent and supplementary non-medical prescribing.
