I started my Physiotherapy career by completing acute rotations through public health in Australia, including acute geriatrics, general medicine, intensive care and the high dependency unit. I then moved into Rehabilitation and completed rotations through outpatients, orthopaedics including hydrotherapy, elderly and general rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation. After moving to the United Kingdom in 2020, I have focused on developing my skills in neurological rehabilitation and am currently working at Orpington Hospital on the neurosciences wards providing intensive inpatient neuro-rehabilitation for patients recovering from a severe neurological event.
Something about me
As part of my Masters I completed a research project into Psychological Factors Impacting Pain Post Breast Cancer Treatment. I have also developed an interest in Women’s Health and plan to complete further training in this in the future.
“Megan has been putting my husband back on the road ever since his leg had an aneurism bypass. She has been so patient and done wonders with him. We will be continuing with Home Physio Group as soon as he has had surgery on the second leg. This is money so well spent!” – Ginnie, Blackheath
