I have worked in London at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since qualifying and have gained experience in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, frailty, neuro rehab and respiratory care. I became a senior physiotherapist last year and specialised in trauma and elective orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. My approach to care is holistic in a way that I understand that an injury, chronic condition or surgery can have both physical and psychological effects which may disrupt someone’s life and cause frustration and anxiety. That’s why my focus is to help people to work towards their goals, provide encouragement and advice to restore functional independence. I enjoy using modified Pilates exercises as part of rehabilitation and for injury prevention. I am also trained in soft tissue massage and lymphatic drainage massage which I use for swelling management.
Something about me
I am currently training to become a certified clinical Pilates instructor.
