I completed my master’s degree in 2018 in my home county of Yorkshire. Over the last six years I have worked in several hospital and community services within the NHS and Adult social care. My professional background and knowledge spans diverse physiotherapy specialties, including inpatient rehab (both stroke and general rehab), A&E, acute medical unit, general medical wards, community rehab and falls service. My current role involves providing rehabilitation to people who have been discharged home from hospital after being unwell, had a fall or has had surgery. I help people regain their independence and enable people to be able to walk, cook, clean, and wash themselves without the need of physical assistance from a caregiver.
